Meet Duncan,
DHD Structures was established by Duncan Hill in 2015 after 20 years experience in the construction industry working for a variety of consultants and contractors. Following a successful period as Regional Director for a global consultant Duncan is now committed to building a local practice with customer service and engineering excellence at its heart.
Our Culture
We enjoy working in a collaborative way with our clients, architects and other engineers. We believe successful designs are derived from understanding what each client is seeking to achieve and tailoring our approach to add value on each project. We listen and then communicate our ideas to both technical and non-technical team members through drawings and diagrams.
Our work is described as both an art and a science by the Institution of Structural Engineers. We seek to excel in both the creative and analytical aspects of engineering working with both hand drawn sketches and advanced computer analysis and modelling software. Where the projects benefit we work in 3D with Revit Structure enabling the full coordination of our design with other team members.​
At DHD Structures we are passionate about solving problems by providing designs which are elegant and simple to construct. We value all clients and will advise on our costs and programme requirements with all quotations.
